Measurement sits at the centre of the SPEAK solution, turning anonymous, aggregated patterns into earlier visibility for leadership. Here's exactly what that means today, and what's still in development.
What we measure today
Sites visited, workers reached, conversations, group attendance, anonymous reflection responses, repeat engagement, optional follow-up contacts, testimonials and case studies, workforce themes and patterns, and site-level or programme-level insight, wherever enough responses exist to protect anonymity.
All workforce wellbeing answers are anonymous or aggregated. Optional contact details are treated separately and used only when a worker asks SPEAK to contact them. Employers never see individual responses, and nothing that could identify a worker is exposed. Where a group is too small to protect anonymity, we don't report at that level.
Return on Health
We're not yet able to calculate a definitive financial return, and we won't claim one until the evidence supports it. What we can say is where the value is likely to show up, and that we're building the evidence to connect workforce and organisational health with the business outcomes that matter.
£4.70
Average return for every £1 invested in workplace mental health, according to Deloitte's 2024 review of 26 published studies on workplace wellbeing interventions. This reflects the wider, independent evidence base for investing in workplace mental health, not a return calculated or claimed by SPEAK.
How we report today, and what's next
Today, findings are reported through structured written reports, presentations, or email, built around what leadership actually needs to act. We're continuing to develop how we follow up with workers and report change back to leadership over time. We'll be clear about what's live and what isn't as that develops.
